Buffy was in her bedroom looking out of her window not really looking at anything as the moonlight shone down on the street, thoughts swimming through her mind about Spike and how she left him there in the Sunnydale High School when he died and saved everyone. She remembered taking her hand in his and holding it tightly as the flames wrapped around their hands, she then smiled and said those three words he waited so long to hear, "i love you..". He didn't believe her, but thanked her anyway, but the fact was that she did mean it, and she didn't want to leave him there that day.
Buffy sighed sadly and walked over to her bed and just stared strsight in front of her for what seemed like ages, then without even realising it, tears started to roll down her cheeks silently. It was only when a tear fell from her cheek and landed on her hand that she noticed that she was crying, crying because she missed Spike and wanted him back here, with her. She leant forward, her elbows on her knees and put her hands over her face as more tears flowed freely, and she started to break down.
