Faith ducked a punch but got the wind knocked out of her when Dru punched her in the abdomen, and didn't even fight back when she was against the wall. Pushing against the vampire she suddenly found her own stake in her shoulder. Looking from her shoulder to the vampire, she put her other arm on the stake. She grimaced slightly, it had gone through a muscle and it hurt like hell.
She vaguely heard what Dru said, but then all she saw was black.
A couple of hours later she woke with someone on front of her trying to wake her up and keep her still, whilst they motioned for a medic to come over and look at the stake in her shoulder. Faith waved them away and stood up, surveying the site around her. It wasn't nice, and she needed to tell Buffy. Looking down at the thing in her hand, she lifted the doll up turning it over in her hand. "This is crap." She muttered, pulling the stake out her shoulder, holding in a scream, and throwing it on the floor, and walked quickly out heading for Buffy's house to let her know who was in town.
